Cinema Room Design

I used to have a home cinema set up in the lounge of my house, about 10 years ago now, however, we were looking to move at one point and having a room full of Hi-Fi equipment does not really appeal to your average house buyer, they want to see white ceilings, magnolia walls, laminate flooring and loads of space. So I had to dismantle the cinema room set up and place it all in storage.

In the end we never did move, and 2 children and a loft conversion later, we have decided to convert the garage on the side of the house, primarily as an additional bedroom and utility room, but whilst we are living here it will be used as a cinema room.

This is the original proposed room layout as drawn up in Visio.

This is where it sits in the ground floor layout:
This project will include a revamp of the shower room, and the build of the Utility room as pipes and electrics for the garage will be coming via the shower room.
A building notice was filed with the local council to cover this piece of work a couple of years ago.
Well that expired and when we finally started the project I had to file the building notice once again.
As it turned out, once building work had started, the layout of the room needed to change as the sofa location really did not work, and so a more sideways on design was chosen.
