I purchased 3 x 10 litre tubs of Sandtex smooth pure brilliant white paint from Wickes, as they were having a 10% off option if you ordered via click and collect, and this made them the cheapest supplier.
I painted as much as I could from the ground or with a short step ladder, then hired a 4.2m scaffold tower from Selco to allow me to safely paint the upper levels, this worked out at about half the price of ordering from any of the other local hire shops.
Whilst I had the scaffold tower, I used the opportunity to fit a DAB aerial to the aerial mast and also to clean out the gutters on the front of the house.
This was also the best time to fit some new fascia boards to the apex on the front of the house to finish off the new look.
