MF-TC Part 6 – Decorations and Legs

Next up was attaching the decorative pieces and the slots for the handle, these were all glued and nailed

Repeated for the other side.

Marking and cutting the holes in the legs with the domino. these all need to be cut from both sides to make through holes.

Two rear legs and 2 front supports.

I then glued and screwed the inner frame for the bench top using pocket screws, then attached the outer frame with just glue as this needs to be routed later.

This was actually done in two stages, the short sides being glued first and then the long sides the following day, the picture shows the last glue-up.

Chamfered the legs with a laminate trimmer and chamfering bit.

Then drilled 10mm holes in the bottom of the legs to install M10 Tee nuts, which are held in place with an additional screw, then installed the M10 adjustable feet.

Process repeated on the legs for the extension tables.
