The drawer fronts were all shaped on the bandsaw.
The drawer bases had their holes, for holding the Systainer feet, cut out using a drill for an initial hole and then finished off using a pattern bit in the router, I made a couple of mini templates that I stuck to the first base and then used that base as a template for all of the others.
The drawer fronts were then glued and nailed to the bases.
The screws supplied with the drawer slides were too long for the 12mm plywood sides and would poke through, so I ground down the tips by about 2mm.
To space the drawer slides, I started with a couple of offcuts at the longest distance, and cut them down for each shorter gap.
All drawer slides installed.
Drawers installed on the drawer slides.
Systainers installed.
Not all of my systainers are of the newer variety, the older style ones have less of a gap between the top and the next drawer base. In time I will swap the older ones out for newer ones funds permitting.
