Having settled on some designs, it was time to obtain some wood to turn into smaller pieces.
On a trip to my local Selco, I bought 1220x2440mm sheets of 18mm plywood, 18mm moisture resistant MDF and 12mm plywood, as well as 4 x 3m lengths of 225x45mm rough sawn timber.
I cut the end of one of the 3m lengths square and to several lengths for the clamps before ripping them down to size.
I also made use of my track saw to reduce down the sheet goods before cutting multiple parts to size on the table saw.
This is the pine parts as well as the 12mm sheet pieces for the MF-TC
These are the main lengths for the sash clamps.
The left over slivers of wood from making the rough sawn wood square.
I don’t appear to have taken any pictures of slicing up the 18mm sheets, which I carried out the following weekend.
