Tuesday evening archery, new beginners course starting this evening, I decided to shoot my recurve bow for a change.

This was also the start of the World Erg Challenge, row as many meters as you can for your chosen team.

Thursday morning at work, 2,000m (9:25.8) warm up, 10,000m UT1 piece for Mud Season Madness,

Walked into Staines and bought Thai spicy chicken with rice for lunch from the market, which I then ate back at the boat club.

8,038m (34:01.3) piece to keep warm while waiting for leisure rowing, I dropped the 500m split by 2 seconds on each 1000m, finishing on a sub 1:50/500m pace.

Walked into Staines, I was intending to have McDonnalds for brunch, but they had no double sausage egg McMuffins, so I had a large cooked breakfast at Weatherspoons instead.

Back at the boat house, 5,013m (19:57.0) while I waited for leisure rowing.

Sunday afternoon leisure rowing, leisure 4x, stroke seat, warm up and slog to the motorway bridge, I was constantly being told to ease off on the effort, even though I could see no puddle from any of the other oars.
