Week 3 (January 16 – January 22) – January Revolutions, Virtual Team Challenge, DH January

Monday morning rowing, Final workout of the series for me January workout 5: 30:00@18spm.

2,000m (9:56.1) warm up, then onto the workout.

Looks like the pace drifted a bit each time I lost concentration, also a few spikes in the rate for the same reason.

A great UT1 workout with a little push at the end. 2,245m (11:35.5) cool down and some stretching.

Day 16, the daily total is 1 day, 11,049m, 635 calories and 51 minutes, running totals are: 16 days, 221,641m, 12,143 calories and 18 hours 4 minutes.

Tuesday morning skiing, I had decided to day would be a rest day, so just a very low effort 1,000m (6:49.7) on the SkiErg that barely raised my heart rate.

Day 17, the daily total is 1 day, 1,000m, 48 calories and 6 minutes, running totals are: 17 days, 222,641m, 12,191 calories and 18 hours 10 minutes.

Wednesday evening skiing, another rest day as my ribs are still hurting, so another low effort 1,000m (6:00.2) on the SkiErg that barely raised my heart rate.

Day 18, the daily total is 1 day, 1,000m, 48 calories and 6 minutes, running totals are: 18 days, 223,641m, 12,239 calories and 18 hours 16 minutes.

Thursday evening skiing, another rest day as my ribs are still hurting, so another low effort 1,000m (5:29.0) on the SkiErg.

Day 19, the daily total is 1 day, 1,000m, 51 calories and 5 minutes, running totals are: 19 days, 224,641m, 12,290 calories and 18 hours 22 minutes.

Friday evening skiing, another rest day just to be sure, medium effort 1,000m (5:29.0) on the SkiErg.

Day 20, the daily total is 1 day, 1,000m, 54 calories and 4 minutes, running totals are: 20 days, 225,641m, 12,344 calories and 18 hours 27 minutes.

This completes the requirement for ‘The Stretch’ 20 days of 500m or more in January.

Saturday morning rowing, first time back on the RowErg in a week after hurting my ribs last weekend, just took it easy.

Day 21, the daily total is 1 day, 17,021m, 916 calories and 1 hour 26 minutes, running totals are: 21 days, 242,662m, 13,260 calories and 19 hours 53 minutes.

Sunday morning rowing, decided to push a bit harder than yesterday at a lower rate and see how far I went.

Ended up being just over the 1/2 marathon, 4Km further than yesterday in only 10 extra minutes, lower rate faster pace. Watched Predestination.

Day 22, the daily total is 1 day, 21,099m, 1221 calories and 1 hour 36 minutes, running totals are: 22 days, 263,761m, 14,481 calories and 21 hours 30 minutes.
