Mark F and myself racing in the Masters double Sculls semi-final (1000m): Staines BC (E) vs Kingston RC (E)
Congratulations on the win to Kingston.
Unfortunately we couldn’t ‘get it together’ on the day and were constantly fighting the boat and the river.
River was very ‘choppy’ but despite that, we couldn’t keep out boat level enough to put any real power down.
I have video footage of this race, but have yet to create a video from it, I will update this post once I have uploaded it.
Kingston went on to win the final against Stewart P and Adrian D, Staines BC (F) crew who had won their semi-final against Thames Tradesmen’s RC (F)
