Week 2 of the C2 Holiday Challenge,
Monday Morning Rest day, took the dog for a long walk.
Tuesday rowing, 2,106m (9:51.2) warm up, then 3 x 4,000m alternating between 20 and 22 spm every 1,000m.
Tuesday evening archery, I thought I would show my face for once
Wednesday morning rowing, half marathon for the C2 Holiday Challenge.
Went out too hot and blew up around 9,000m, stopped too many times to remember.
Brought it home over the last 3,500m, finished up 3 minutes short of my PB
Thursday morning rowing in the work gym, 1 hour low intensity recovery session
Friday rest day, took the dog for a long walk.
Saturday morning masters rowing, 8+, #6 seat, my last OTW session with the Remenham crew before our race next weekend, two full length pieces, one in each direction.
Strava doesn’t have a segment from the bottom to the top, the closest it has is the SBC Island to Bridge upstream.
Took a walk into Staines to meet up with Amanda from Laleham Archery Club to discuss the county records and the county website over ‘brunch’ before heading back to the boat club.
Saturday afternoon leisure rowing, leisure double, bow seat with Maria, great to be back out on the water in a smaller boat
Followed by an hour of steady state rowing to kill some time after Leisure Rowing and before the Leisure Rowing Christmas Party
Sunday, no rowing as I had agreed to help my wife with a local craft fair for selling her hand made cards, I did however take the dog for a nice long walk.
Total this week for the C2 Holiday Challenge is 61,849, running total is now 103,581m
During the month of November I managed a total of 123 hours of exercise, walked 168km, climbed 237 flights of stairs, rowed 442km on the RowErg and 13km on the water.
By the end of the month my weight was 14 Stone 1lb (200lb/90kg), 1lb gain.
