Following on from the achievements of August I continued to make slow improvements and my weight had also started to drop.
I started doing many of the the C2 workouts of the day (WoD) as something planned to do as a workout, varying between the short, medium and long, depending on what I best liked the look of on the day.
My next 2K PB was on 01/09/2021 at 8:35.9, this was done as one of 6 intervals with 2:00 rest between each interval, this was the C2 workout of the day, however because this was an interval and not a single distance it could not be ranked.
Likewise a few days later I managed another new PB of 8:09.9, but again it had been entered as an interval.
However my 2K on 08/09/2021 at 8:15.9 was entered as a single distance so became my new ranked PB and placed me in the 38th percentile.
My next 5K PB was on 13/09/2021 at 21:02.9 moved me up to the 48th percentile for 5K.
The next challenge on the Concept 2 calendar was the Fall Team Challenge, This is simply row as many metres as you can between 15 September and 15 October for your chosen team.
I initially set my team affiliation to Lunatics from the C2 Forum, but ultimately changed it to Dark Horse Rowing once I realised they were represented.
I contributed 484,666m for the team which helped the team finish 5th, with me being the 8th highest contributor.
During this challenge I also completed my first half marathon on 18/09/2021 at 1:47:25.7 which placed me in the 8th percentile.
I also completed 8 more half marathons my best being on 12/10/2021 at 1:35:38.8 which moved me up to the 39th percentile.
My next 2K PB was on 01/10/2021 at 07:49.4, my first sub 8 minute 2K which now placed me in the 58th percentile for 2K.
I also managed a new 10K PB on 06/10/2021 at 43:11.3 that moved me up to the 45th percentile for 10K
During the month of September I managed a total of 86 hours of exercise, walked 345km climbed 351 flights of stairs, cycled 0km and rowed 307km.
By the end of the month my weight was 15 Stone 10lb (220lb/100kg), a loss of 8lbs (3.6kg).
