Just my luck – Pacific Bearings decided to discontinue the IVTAAS extrusion in April 2012!
Ah well back to the (virtual) drawing board again.
This time making use of the IVTAAN extrusion:
The frame is all Unistrut, and all based on 1.5m lengths (easily cut down from standard 3m lengths of Unistrut).

The quote I received from Alldrives (one of the UK distributors for Pacific Bearings) was:
2 x IVTAANR-1500-O0O – £57.47 each (Y axis rails)
1 x IVRANQR-1000-O0O – £82.47 (X axis rail)
1 x IVRANQR-400-O0O – £39.19 (Z axis rail)
Whilst these are not horrific prices, they are still nearly double what these extrusions can be had for in the States.
Their prices for the V groove bearings however almost made me choke at over £11.00 each, when I can potentially buy them on ebay for about £3.50 each including shipping.
I can also buy the Concentric and Eccentric bushings from IMService for just over $3.00 and $5.00 respectively.
