Extension Tables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It seems I did not take any pictures during the assembly process of the extension table frames,<\/p>\n<p>Just one that shows the completed frames<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; into place with a mallet and then screws were added to secure them.<\/p>\n<p>I did not have any with 4mm heads, so made use of the smallest ones I had which unfortunately had heads about the same width as the oak and will require some cleanup.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC64.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-146 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC64-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC64-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC64.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I went looking for some suitable dowels to use and the best option I could find from what I had were some 14mm dowels that I believe came from an old set of bunk beds<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC67.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-147 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC67-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC67-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC67-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.hslracing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/04\/MFTC67.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>I drilled 13mm holes in the legs and 14mm holes in the sides of the extension tables, then used a clamp to press them in.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; you will notice that I forgot to round off the tops of the legs, but I don&#8217;t believe this will be an issue as they don&#8217;t protrude above the frame at any point as they turn.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both;
