After waiting about a week for all the plaster to dry out fully, the next step was to apply a layer or two of paint.<\/p>\n

Nothing fancy, just three coats of trade brilliant white matt emulsion, and you have an immediate transformation.<\/p>\n

In the next few photos, you can see I have starting to build the cabinets and position some of them where they need to go.<\/p>\n

Here you can see I have put in a new ceiling light and fitted the extractor fan above where the hob will go.<\/p>\n
