Before we could convert the garage attached to the house, we needed to build a new garage at the bottom of the garden.<\/div>\n

Work started in June 2008, to clear the area at the bottom of the garden.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
First order of business was to fell a 60 foot fir tree which was dropped into the garden itself and then chopped up.<\/div>\n

The ground work and concrete slab build for the garage was performed by Judge Paving<\/a>.<\/div>\n

 Tree stump finally removed – required a JCB to finally pull it out.<\/p>\n

 Shuttering in place and filled with hard core<\/p>\n

 Ready to start pouring concrete<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

Reinforcing mesh was also added to each half of the slab for additional strength.<\/p>\n

One half done<\/p>\n

The second half was poured a few days later, then after final drying and removal of the shuttering, we have a finished slab.<\/p>\n
