Sunday 10th July<\/h3>\n

My wife has been busy painting the walls in the Cinema room this week, although I did not take any pictures of the progress, the results can still be seen in the following photos.<\/p>\n

The ceiling has now had the original coat of 50\/50 wash and two coats of white paint.<\/p>\n

The walls have also received two coats of ‘Summer Pudding’ over the 50\/50 wash coat.<\/p>\n

The edges still need to be done at this point – this will be a job for me as I have a steadier hand for cutting in the lines.<\/p>\n

I spent most of today cutting and fitting the skirting boards as well as the architrave around the doors.<\/p>\n

Here you can see the end wall with the radiator brackets re-installed and the new screed pretty much dry.<\/p>\n

Next I started locating and pulling down the cables for the down lighters.<\/p>\n

I also spent an hour or two painting all of the knots in the wood with a sealant and filling any gaps between the wood an the walls.<\/div>\n

Saturday 16th July<\/h3>\n

Here are some of the lights finally installed.<\/p>\n

First coat of primer applied to the skirting.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

First coat of paint cut in on the top edges and around the window frame.<\/p>\n

Sunday 17th July<\/h3>\n

Long slow day of careful painting.<\/p>\n

Two coats of primer on the skirting boards and two coats of paint cut in on the bottom edges.<\/p>\n
